Mission Projects Day ~ Saturday, February 3, 2018
This is an exciting and fun day of outreach activities. In order to make this day a success, we are looking for individuals to be table leads. The role of the table lead will be to help organize the items for the table, partner with individuals writing Action Team grants to purchase items (if needed) and lead the creation of the kits/project on the day of the event. There will be many volunteers to help at each table, but the lead will guide the process.
If interested, sign up in the narthex or speak with Sandy Hanna or Sue Koenig.

Alpine Festival Parade, Lake Zurich - July 23
We had a great turnout for the Alpine Parade! Our volunteers passed out water bottles with our name, logo, website and Facebook information. We had almost 1,000 bottles and ran out right at the end! It reminded us how Jesus called us to serve the least of these, even with just cold water.
Adult Mission Trip 2017 ~ June 11-17
Peace Lutheran and Living Lord churches had a successful mission trip in Detroit, MI. They served by helping communities impacted by flooding in 2014 and 2016. They worked so hard and grew together in Christ, serving communities in need.
