PSALM: Psalm 23
Video and say responsively: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6IiZiKTXIw

1The LORD is my shepherd;
            I shall not be in want.
2The LORD makes me lie down in green pastures
            and leads me beside still waters.
3You restore my soul, O LORD,
            and guide me along right pathways for your name's sake.
4Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I shall fear no evil;
            for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
5You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
            you anoint my head with oil, and my cup is running over.
6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,
            and I will dwell in the house of the | LORD forever.

Video & Sing along – Hymn of the Day: “Amazing Grace how Sweet the Sound” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hX3k1QJp-hE

Amazing grace! – how sweet the sound – that saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found; was blind, but now I see.

‘Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed!

Through many dangers, toils, and snares I have already come;
‘Tis grace has brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home.

The Lord has promised good to me; his word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be as long as life endures.

When we’ve been there ten thousand years, bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise than when we’d first begun.

How to give your offering now? The work of our church goes on as we learn how to operate in a “new normal” for now.  We ARE the church in all circumstances.  If you were giving an offering at worship, please continue your generous financial support by one of these options:
·       mailing your offerings to the church office;
·       use your bank’s website “send-payment” feature;
·       go to PLC website www.peacelutheranlz.com and click on “make a donation;” or
·       download and use the app we recommend:  https://www.vancopayments.com/egiving/church-app

Go in peace, serve the Lord.
Thanks be to God!

Next Sunday (March 29) Scripture Reflection: John 11:1-45.
This narrative describes the context for one of Jesus’ most profound miracles, the raising of Lazarus from death. Jesus, after long-distance correspondence with Lazarus’ family (his BFFs), and after arriving at the scene to meet up with his grieving friends, he is brought to the tomb where Lazarus is laid.  There, Jesus wept.  A most compelling moment in this story, and insight into who Jesus is FOR YOU, and how Jesus is FOR YOU.  He is a dearest friend, who can identify with the griefs, stresses, crises, and troubles YOU experience.  While we are not able these days to take communion at church and hear the words, “Given and shed FOR YOU,” please be assured every day and every moment Jesus is FOR YOU… his body broken FOR you and his blood shed FOR YOU.  Say Amen!

Please let us know how YOU are doing – or if you, your neighbor, or someone you know has any need!

We are saving lives by offering our worship to God in this format instead of gathering face to face.   The only tool available right now to SLOW the spread of the coronavirus is distance – social distance.  For this reason, our church building is closed.  Pastor Dale, Tracy and Allison are all working out of our homes. We are following protocols that follow state and local guidelines.
