Now is the Time to Worship
Video: Welcome and Introduction to the Day
VIDEO and JOIN IN: Confession and Forgiveness
You may make the sign of the cross, the sign marked on you at baptism, as we begin.
Blessed be the holy Trinity, + one God, who forgives all our sin, whose mercy is never ending. Amen. Seeking reconciliation with God and neighbor, let us remember the gift of baptism and confess our sin.
Silence is kept for reflection.
God of mercy: We confess that we have sinned against you and against one another. We are worried and distracted by many things, and we fail to love you above all else. We think mostly of ourselves, and turn away from our neighbors in need. Forgive us, that we may live in the freedom of your risen Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
When we were laid low by sin and guilt, God made us alive together with Christ, forgiving us + all our failures and shortcomings, by taking our sins to the cross. For freedom Christ has set us free: Rejoice in this good news! Amen.
VIDEO AND SING ALONG: Now the Feast and Celebration
Refrain: Now the feast and celebration, all of creation sings for joy to the God of life and love and freedom: praise and glory forevermore!
Now is the feast of the Lamb once slain, whose blood has freed and united us to be one great people of God. Refrain
Power and riches, wisdom and might, all honor and glory to Christ forever. Refrain
For God has come to dwell with us, to make us people of God; to make all things new. Refrain
VIDEO AND SAY (Prayer of the day):
O God of glory, your Son Jesus Christ suffered for us and ascended to your right hand. Unite us with Christ and each other in suffering and in joy, that all the world may be drawn into your bountiful presence, through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen

Video: First Reading: Acts 1:6-14
VIDEO AND READ ALONG RESPONSIVELY: Psalm 68:1-10, 32-35
1Let God arise, and let God's enemies be scattered; let those who hate God flee.
2As smoke is driven away, so you should drive them away; as the wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
3But let the righteous be glad and rejoice before God; let them also be merry and joyful.
4Sing to God, sing praises to God's name; exalt the one who rides the clouds; I AM is that name, rejoice before God!
5In your holy habitation, O God, you are a father to orphans, defender of widows;
6you give the solitary a home and bring forth prisoners into freedom; but the rebels shall live in desert places.
7O God, when you went forth before your people, when you marched through the wilderness,
8the earth quaked, and the skies poured down rain, at the presence of God, the God of Sinai, at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
9You sent a bountiful rain, O God; you restored your inheritance when it languished.
10Your people found their home in it; in your goodness, O God, you have made provision for the poor.
32Sing to God, O kingdoms of the earth; sing praises to the Lord.
33You ride in the heavens, O God, in the ancient heavens; you send forth your voice, your mighty voice.
34Ascribe power to God, whose majesty is over Israel; whose strength is in the skies.
35How wonderful you are in your holy places, O God of Israel, giving strength and power to your people! Blessed be God!

VIDEO & SING ALONG – Hymn of the Day: “Beautiful Savior”
Beautiful Savior, King of creation, Son of God and Son of Man!
Truly I’d love thee, truly I’d serve thee, light of my soul, my joy, my crown.
Fair are the meadows, fair are the woodlands, robed in flow’rs of blooming spring;
Jesus is fairer, Jesus is purer, he makes our sorrowing spirit sing.
Fair is the sunshine, fair is the moonlight, bright the sparking stars on high;
Jesus shines brighter, Jesus shines purer than all the angels in the sky.
Beautiful Savior, Lord of the nations, Son of God and Son of Man!
Glory and honor, praise adoration, now and forever-more be thine!
VIDEO & JOIN IN: THE APOSTLES’ CREED
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

VIDEO AND JOIN IN: OFFERING PRAYER
Merciful God, our ordinary gifts seem small, but you make of them an abundance,
just as you do with our lives. You have fed us with your Word for service in your name. In the strength of the risen Christ we pray. Amen.
May the One who brought forth Jesus from the dead raise you to new life, fill you with hope, and turn your mourning into dancing. Almighty God, Father, + Son, and Holy Spirit, bless you now and forever. Amen.
VIDEO AND SING ALONG: “Crown Him with Many Crowns”
Crown him with many crowns, the Lamb upon his throne; hark, how the heav’nly anthem drowns all music but its own. Awake, my soul, and sing of him who died for thee, and hail him as thy matchless king through all eternity.
Crown him the Lord of life, who triumphed o’er the grave and rose victorious in the strife for those he came to save. His glories now we sing, who died and rose on high, who died eternal life to bring, and lives that death may die.
Crown him the Lord of years, the potentate of time, creator of the rolling spheres, ineffably sublime. All hail, Redeemer, hail! For thou hast died for me; thy praise and glory shall not fail throughout eternity.
Christ is risen, just as he said. Go in peace. Share the good news. Alleluia!
Thanks be to God. Alleluia!
Thank you to Anna from Lake Zurich Flowers who donated the beautiful flower arrangement for our online virtual worship background. On this Memorial Day weekend we DEDICATE these flowers to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in defending the freedoms we enjoy.
So much gratitude for everyone who has contributed to our worship today and in recent weeks. The young and old, readers and musicians, and the technical help from a growing circle of Peace people is making this possible.
