NEW WORSHIP SCHEDULE COMING 2021
Thank you for helping us hear your voice with the Worship Team survey! After reviewing the results, the PPC determined that we will move into the new year with one Sunday service over Zoom at 9:00 a.m. followed by a fellowship/education hour. We will also be offering an Emmaus service on YouTube at 5:00 p.m. The COVID Team will continue checking in regularly in hopes of opening the sanctuary to limited, in-person gatherings as soon as possible. The new worship schedule will begin Sunday, January 3. Please note it will take a couple weeks for the Virtual Worship Planning Team to create content for the new Emmaus service. In the meantime, guidance for observing an Emmaus service will be provided in the January newsletter, and the morning service will be available on YouTube by 5:00 p.m. every Sunday.

They have recently retired and will be moving to California to start the next chapter of their lives! Both Lin and Bruce have been very active members of Peace for many years and have been involved with youth, mentoring, PPC, worship assistants and more. Bring a card and write in it a memory or even a thought of how they have touched your life. The drive-by farewell will take place in front of Sue and Bill Koenig's home, in Spring Grove. Wear your mask so you can Bruce and Lin off in a safe manner! Please contact Sue Koenig if you have any questions.

SOCIAL OUTREACH UPDATES
Update from St. Francis de Sales Food Pantry: We will continue to collect gift cards for this food pantry through Dec. 13. We are looking for grocery cards from Aldi, Target, Walmart, or Jewel in any amount. Food pantries continue to serve many more families than in the past due to the pandemics economic impact. If you prefer to donate goods, please check the St. Francis website for hours and requested items. Donations to the st. Francis food pantry can be dropped off at their ministry center(the old library), from 8-2pm, Monday to Friday, in the blue bin. Thank you.
Lutheran Social Services Christmas Plans: Members of Peace have been supporting LSSI for many, many years and we will continue to do so again this year by providing gift cards from Target or Walmart for any amount. In years past, we donated gifts to the children in their day care programs or in foster care. This Christmas, LSSI will use the gift cards to help provide a happier Christmas for children enrolled in their programs. The need is great. Thank you for considering this ministry. If you have any questions, please contact Sue Koenig.
Mission Projects Season: We are well underway in completing our usual projects done on Mission Projects Day (first Saturday in February in non-pandemic years!). We still have paracord bracelets that need to be assembled (contact Bill Walstrum if you would like a batch to do at home) and cards for hospitalized children (contact Sue Koenig if you would like the bin delivered to your home). Feel free to make more baby or health kits on your own for Lutheran World Relief if you would like and we will add them to our inventory to be sent off in February. Instructions and kit supply lists can be found on the Lutheran World Relief website under assemble kits. Thank you everyone for your help!
