SERVICE OF THE WORD
Join us in hearing God’s word for us proclaimed by the Rev. Robert Biekman, MCS Director of Evangelical Mission and Associate to the Bishop. You can enter the virtual building after 8:45am. The service begins at 9:00 a.m. on Zoom followed by the fellowship/education hour at 10:00 a.m. You may need the following information to participate:
Meeting ID: 881 9854 9196
Click here to enter the virtual sanctuary directly or visit zoom.us/join.
You can also join over the phone.
Please note that the liturgy will be recorded so the reading(s) and sermon can be incorporated into the Emmaus Evening Prayer Service available on YouTube at 5:00 p.m. Peace be with you and with all who dwell in your house!
EMMAUS HOLDEN EVENING PRAYER
The service will be available on YouTube at 5:00 p.m. Dinner follows the service.
Emmaus style evening prayer takes its name from a story found in Luke 24:13-35. It is intended to be followed by a meal around the dinner table. Consider making your table special by adding a table cloth, using your most festive dinnerware, and/or lighting a candle. Also consider sharing this meal with someone over the phone, especially if you live alone. Watch your email on Sunday afternoon for the link to the YouTube video, or find it online at www.peacelutheranlz.com.
MIDWEEK LENTEN HEALING SERVICES
Midweek healing services will be made available on YouTube every Wednesday between Ash Wednesday and Palm Sunday. All are welcome to participate.
COMMUNION SUPPLIES LOW?
We will observe four celebrations of Holy Communion during Holy Week (Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, and two Easter Sunday services). If you are running low on supplies, please contact Kari or the church office for more. Gluten free options are available upon request.

Celebrate the resurrection of our Lord with a pandemic-friendly twist on a favorite tradition, the Easter brunch pick-up! Beth Piff and Cathy Malloy are ordering individually packaged brunch-style treats from Simply Delicious Gourmet Catering in Lake Zurich that will be available for pick-up between services from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. on Easter morning. Men’s Night Out: March Madness! One of the best parts of March Madness is Peace’s Men’s Night Out night. This is usually the first weekend of the tournament when the most upsets happen. The Men’s group gets together at someone’s home, everyone brings their favorite adult beverage and food to pass. We gather around various TV’s to watch the games. The cheering is constant as the networks bounce from game to game. Fellowship is also constant. We get a chance to catch up on favorite teams, families, jobs, and a host of other “very important” topics
