Now is the Time to Worship
VIDEO: Prelude
VIDEO: Welcome and Introduction to the Day
VIDEO and JOIN IN: CONFESSION AND FORGIVENESS  All may make the sign of the cross, the sign that is marked at baptism, as the presiding minister begins.

Blessed be the holy Trinity, + one God, whose steadfast love is everlasting, whose faithfulness endures from generation to generation. Amen. Trusting in the mercy of God, let us confess our sin.  (Silence is kept for reflection).

Reconciling God, we confess that we do not trust your abundance, and we deny your presence in our lives. We place our hope in ourselves and rely on our own efforts. We fail to believe that you provide enough for all. We abuse your good creation for our own benefit.  We fear difference and do not welcome others as you have welcomed us. We sin in thought, word, and deed.  By your grace, forgive us; through your love, renew us; and in your Spirit, lead us; so that we may live and serve you in newness of life. Amen.

Beloved of God, by the radical abundance of divine mercy we have peace with God through + Christ Jesus, through whom we have obtained grace upon grace. Our sins are forgiven. Let us live now in hope. For hope does not disappoint, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit. Amen.

VIDEO AND SAY (Prayer of the day):
Beloved and sovereign God, through the death and resurrection of your Son you bring us into your kingdom of justice and mercy. By your Spirit, give us your wisdom, that we may treasure the life that comes from Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen

130When your word is opened it gives light;
it gives understanding to the simple.
131I open my mouth and pant
because I long for your commandments.
132Turn to me and be gracious to me,
as you always do to those who love your name.
133Order my footsteps in your word;
let no iniquity have dominion over me.
134Rescue me from those who oppress me,
and I will keep your commandments.
135Let your face shine upon your servant
            and teach me your statutes.
136My eyes shed streams of tears,
because people do not keep your teaching.

16Turn to me and have mercy on me; give your strength to your servant, and save the child of your handmaid.

In the just reward of labor, God's will is done; in the help we give our neighbor, God's will is done; in our world-wide task of caring for the hungry and despairing, in the harvests we are sharing, God's will is done.

1You are to be praised, O God, in Zion; to you shall vows be fulfilled.
2To you, the one who answers prayer, to you all flesh shall come.
9You visit the earth and water it abundantly; you make it very plenteous;
the river of God is full of water. You prepare the grain, for so you provide for the earth.
10You drench the furrows and smooth out the ridges; with heavy rain you soften the ground and bless its increase.
11You crown the year with your goodness, and your paths overflow with plenty.
12May the fields of the wilderness be rich for grazing, and the hills be clothed with joy.
13May the meadows cover themselves with flocks, and the valleys cloak themselves with grain; let them shout for joy and sing.
You are to be praised, O God, in Zion; to you shall vows be fulfilled.

The Word of God is breath and life; it comes to heal and wake and save. So let the Spirit touch and mend and rouse your dry bones from their grave.   Refrain

Now is the Time to Worship
VIDEO: Prelude
VIDEO: Welcome and Introduction to the Day

Thanksgiving For Baptism:
All may make the sign of the cross, the sign that is marked at baptism as we begin:

Alleluia! Christ is risen. Christ is risen indeed. Alleluia!

Joined to Christ in the waters of baptism, we are raised with him to new life. Let us give thanks for the gift of baptism.

We give you thanks, O God, for in the beginning you created us in your image and planted us in a well-watered garden. In the desert you promised pools of water for the parched, and you gave us water from the rock. When we did not know the way, you sent the Good Shepherd to lead us to still waters. At the cross, you watered us from Jesus' wounded side, and on this day, you shower us again with the water of life.
We praise you for your salvation through water, for the water of baptism, and for all water everywhere. Bathe us in your forgiveness, grace, and love. Satisfy the thirsty, and give us the life only you can give

To you be given honor and praise through Jesus Christ our Lord in the unity of the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen.

VIDEO AND SING ALONG: Canticle of Praise
Cantor: This is the feast of victory for our God. Alleluia.
Worthy is Christ, the Lamb who was slain, whose blood set us free to be people of
God. Power and riches and wisdom and strength, and honor and blessing and
  glory are his.
Refrain: This is the feast of victory for our God. Alleluia.
Sing with all the people of God and join in the hymn of all creation: Blessing and
honor and glory and might be to God and the Lamb forever. Amen.
Final refrain: This is the feast of victory for our God, for the Lamb who was slain has begun
 his reign. Alleluia. Alleluia.

VIDEO AND SAY (Prayer of the day):
You are great, O God, and greatly to be praised. You have made us for yourself, and our hearts are restless until they rest in you. Grant that we may believe in you, call upon you, know you, and serve you, through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.  Amen

Be there at our waking, and give us, we pray,
your bliss in our hearts, Lord, at the break of the day.

Lord of all eagerness, Lord of all faith,
whose strong hands were skilled at the plane and the lathe:
Be there at our labors, and give us, we pray,
your strength in our hearts, Lord, at the noon of the day.

Lord of all kindliness, Lord of all grace,
your hands swift to welcome, your arms to embrace:
Be there at our homing, and give us, we pray,
your love in our hearts, Lord, at the eve of the day.

Lord of all gentleness, Lord of all calm,
whose voice is contentment, whose presence is balm:
Be there at our sleeping, and give us, we pray,
your peace in our hearts, Lord, at the end of the day.

The Lord be with you.
And also with you.
Lift up your hearts.
We lift them to the Lord.
Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
It is right to give our thanks and praise.

It is indeed right, our duty and our joy, that we should at all times and in all places give thanks and praise to you, almighty and merciful God.  For you have revealed your glory as the glory of your Son and of the Holy Spirit: three persons equal in majesty, undivided in splendor, yet one Lord, one God, ever to be worshipped and adored.  And so we your people join with those of every time and space who raise their voice in praise, with earth and sea and all their creatures, and with angels and archangels, cherubim and seraphim.  We praise your name and join their unending hymn:

Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might, heaven and earth are full of your glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest. Hosanna in the highest!

Words of Institution and Lord’s Prayer

In the night in which he was betrayed, our Lord Jesus took bread, and gave thanks; broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying: Take and eat; this is my body, given for you. Do this for the remembrance of me.

Again after supper, he took the cup, gave thanks and gave it for all to drink, saying: This cup is the new covenant in my blood, shed for you and for all people for the forgiveness of sin.  Do this for the remembrance of me.”

O Lord God, bless us your servants and these your own gifts of bread and wine. May we and all who share in the body and blood of Christ be filled with grace, receive forgiveness of sins, and be formed to live as your body in the world.  To you, O God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, be all honor and glory, now and forever.  Amen.

The Lord’s Prayer

Our father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power,  and the glory forever. Amen.

Take part in the sacrament now

TAKE THE BREAD….Each one in your household taking a turn tearing off a piece of bread, and serving the person next to them with these words, “the body of Christ, given for you”.
TAKE THE CUP…..After all have received the bread, each one taking a turn serving the one next to them with the cup, saying these words, “the blood of Christ, shed for you”.

IF YOU ARE ALONE:
Take the bread and say “the body of Christ”
Then take the cup and say “the blood of Christ”

IF YOU OR ANOTHER IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD ARE NOT TAKING THE BREAD AND CUP, you may make the sign of the cross over yourself, or over the other and say, “the Lord Jesus bless you and love you forever.”

Communion Hymn:  “Bread of Life From Heaven”

Refrain:  Bread of life from heaven, your blood and body given,
we eat this bread and drink this cup until you come again.

Break now the bread of Christ’s sacrifice; giving thanks, hungry ones, gather round.
Eat, all of you, and be satisfied; in Christ’s presence the loaves will abound.

            Refrain

Seek not the food that will pass away; set your hearts on the food that endures.
Come, learn the true and the living way, that the fullness of life may be yours.

            Refrain

Love as the one who, in love for you; gave himself for the life of the world.
Come to the one who is food for you, that your hunger and thirst be no more.

            Refrain

PRAYER AFTER COMMUNION, BLESSING

The body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ strengthen you and keep you in his grace.  Go in peace!  Amen!

Life-giving God, you have fed us with your word, and the eyes of our hearts are opened.  And through this meal you have opened us to your presence!  Send us forth to share the gifts of Easter with all in need; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus.  Amen.

VIDEO AND SING ALONG:  “O, Beautiful, For Spacious Skies”

O beautiful for spacious skies, for amber waves of grain;
for purple mountain majesties above the fruited plain!
America! America! God shed his grace on thee,
and crown thy good with brotherhood from sea to shining sea.

O beautiful for heroes proved in liberating strife,
who more than self their country loved, and mercy more than life!
America! America! May God thy gold refine,
till all success be nobleness, and every gain divine.

O beautiful for patriot dream that sees beyond the years
thine alabaster cities gleam, undimmed by human tears!
America! America! God mend thine every flaw,
confirm thy soul in self-control, thy liberty in law.
