Christ is risen. Christ is risen indeed. Alleluia! Joined to Christ in the waters of baptism, we are raised with him to new life. Let us give thanks for the gift of baptism. We give you thanks, O God, for in the beginning you created us in your image and planted us in a well-watered garden. In the desert you promised pools of water for the parched, and you gave us water from the rock. When we did not know the way, you sent the Good Shepherd to lead us to still waters. At the cross, you watered us from Jesus' wounded side, and on this day, you shower us again with the water of life. We praise you for your salvation through water, for the water of baptism, and for all water everywhere. Bathe us in your forgiveness, grace, and love. Satisfy the thirsty, and give us the life only you can give. To you be given honor and praise through Jesus Christ our Lord in the unity of the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen. VIDEO AND SING ALONG: Canticle of Praise Cantor: This is the feast of victory for our God. Alleluia. Worthy is Christ, the Lamb who was slain, whose blood set us free to be people of God. Power and riches and wisdom and strength, and honor and blessing and glory are his. Refrain: This is the feast of victory for our God. Alleluia. Sing with all the people of God and join in the hymn of all creation: Blessing and honor and glory and might be to God and the Lamb forever. Amen. Final refrain: This is the feast of victory for our God, for the Lamb who was slain has begun his reign. Alleluia. Alleluia. VIDEO AND SAY (Prayer of the day): God of heaven and earth, before the foundation of the universe and the beginning of time you are the triune God: Author of creation, eternal Word of salvation, life-giving Spirit of wisdom. Guide us to all truth by your Spirit, that we may proclaim all that Christ has revealed and rejoice in the glory he shares with us. Glory and praise to you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen. VIDEO: Children’s Word VIDEO: First Reading: Genesis 1:1-2:4a VIDEO AND READ ALONG RESPONSIVELY: Psalm 8 O LORD our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!-- You whose glory is chanted above the heavens out of the mouths of infants and children; you have set up a fortress against your enemies, to silence the foe and avenger. When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars you have set in their courses, what are mere mortals that you should be mindful of them, human beings that you should care for them? Yet you have made them little less than divine; with glory and honor you crown them. You have made them rule over the works of your hands; you have put all things under their feet: all flocks and cattle, even the wild beasts of the field, the birds of the air, the fish of the sea, and whatever passes along the paths of the sea. O LORD our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! VIDEO: Second Reading - 2 Corinthians 13:11-13 VIDEO: Gospel - Matthew 28:16-20 VIDEO: Deacon Tracy Katschke - Sermon: “Sometimes there are no Words” VIDEO & SING ALONG – Hymn of the Day: “God, Whose Almighty Word” God, whose almighty word chaos and darkness heard and took their flight: Hear us, we humble pray, and where the gospel day sheds not its glorious ray, let there be light! Christ, who once came to bring, on your redeeming wing, healing and sight, health to the troubled mind, sight where illusions blind: oh, now to mankind let there be light! Spirit of truth and love, life giving holy dove, speed forth your flight; move on the water's face bearing the lamp of grace, and in earth, far and wide let there be light! Holy and blessed three, glorious Trinity, Wisdom, Love, Might: boundless as ocean's tide, in fullest pride, through the earth, far and wide, let there be light! VIDEO & JOIN IN: THE NICENE CREED We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father; through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven, was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary and became truly human. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen. It is indeed right, our duty and our joy, that we should at all times and in all places give thanks and praise to you, almighty and merciful God. For you have revealed your glory as the glory of your Son and of the Holy Spirit: three persons equal in majesty, undivided in splendor, yet one Lord, one God, ever to be worshipped and adored. And so we your people join with those of every time and space who raise their voice in praise, with earth and sea and all their creatures, and with angels and archangels, cherubim and seraphim. We praise your name and join their unending hymn: VIDEO AND SING: Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might, heaven and earth are full of your glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest. Hosanna in the highest! VIDEO: Words of Institution and Lord’s Prayer In the night in which he was betrayed, our Lord Jesus took bread, and gave thanks; broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying: Take and eat; this is my body, given for you. Do this for the remembrance of me. Again after supper, he took the cup, gave thanks and gave it for all to drink, saying: This cup is the new covenant in my blood, shed for you and for all people for the forgiveness of sin. Do this for the remembrance of me.” O Lord God, bless us your servants and these your own gifts of bread and wine. May we and all who share in the body and blood of Christ be filled with grace, receive forgiveness of sins, and be formed to live as your body in the world. To you, O God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, be all honor and glory, now and forever. Amen. Our Father, who art in heaven…. … forever and ever. Amen. VIDEO: Take part in the sacrament now while you listen to “Lamb of God” TAKE THE BREAD….Each one in your household taking a turn tearing off a piece of bread, and serving the person next to them with these words, “the body of Christ, given for you”. TAKE THE CUP…..After all have received the bread, each one taking a turn serving the one next to them with the cup, saying these words, “the blood of Christ, shed for you”. IF YOU ARE ALONE: Take the bread and say “the body of Christ” Then take the cup and say “the blood of Christ” IF YOU OR ANOTHER IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD ARE NOT TAKING THE BREAD AND CUP, you may make the sign of the cross over yourself, or over the other and say, “the Lord Jesus bless you and love you forever.” Lamb of God: Lamb of God, you take away the sin of the world; have mercy on us. Life-giving God, you have fed us with your word, and the eyes of our hearts are opened. And through this meal you have opened us to your presence! Send us forth to share the gifts of the Spirit with all in need; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. Neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. VIDEO AND SING ALONG: Closing Hymn “Come, Join the Dance of Trinity” Come, join the dance of Trinity, before all worlds begun - the interweaving of the three, the Father, Spirit, Son. The universe of space and time did not arise by chance, but as the Three, in love and hope, made room within their dance. Within the dance of Trinity, before all worlds begun, we sing the praises of the Three, the Father, Spirit, Son. Let voices rise and interweave, by love and hope set free, to shape in song this joy, this life: the dance of Trinity. VIDEO: DISMISSAL Go in peace. Christ is with you. Thanks be to God. Alleluia!
